Interns are formally partnered with a seasoned Buyer and their team, within a specific division.
During the program, Interns will experience what it is like to work in a fast paced buying office based in our NY Corporate Offices in our NY Store.
Weekly seminars are given to expose you to the entire organization. Some of the speakers in the past have included Executive Director of Stores, Divisional Merchandise Managers, Buyers, Director of Human Resources, Director of e-Com, Assistant Buyers, etc.
Experience trips into the market, visit our branch stores, go competitive shopping with a Buyer or visit our distribution center.
12 week program
Each student is required to work a set schedule each week based on their school schedule/availability. A typical day is from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
Paid $8.50 per hour
Each Intern is reviewed at the end of the 12 week session. Based upon the results, an Intern may have an opportunity to interview for potential entry level buying opportunities.
