The Kansas Department of Children and Families (DCF) is seeking a vendor to collaborate and complete Business Process Redesign (BPR) implementation to its field offices in Kansas. GDIT is looking for several resources to be part of a team or teams that travel to field offices, supporting the implementation of the BPR. Weekly travel (as much as 90%) to Field offices is required. Duties will include the following:
oSupport Project Manager in producing the long-term timeline and schedule for the BPR implementation
2.BPR Planning Sessions (5 sessions)
oSupport presentation of BPR information to leadership staff during a 3 day planning session
oConduct one-on-one interviews to develop customized BPR implementation plans
oCreate customized BPR rollout plans for field offices
oSupport weekly plan reviews with DCF
oHelp lead risk analysis, documentation, and mitigation activities
3.BPR Rollout (23 offices)
oSupport BPR rollout at field offices. Each rollout will last 5 days and will be conducted on-site at each filed office.
oAssist implementation of BPR roles and principals through one-on-one mentoring and coaching
oSupport the creation of a BPR implementation summary report that will be delivered to DCF
4.Post Implementation Reviews (38 offices)
oSupport Post Implementation reviews at 38 offices, each of which will occur over 1-4 days on-site at field offices
oHelp develop internal DCF staff's ability to conduct ongoing follow up and auditing of operations
oAssist in creation of a post implementation review report to be provided to DCF
5.Supervisory Academy (7 sessions)
oAssist with the creation of training materials for a Supervisory Academy
oHelp conduct Supervisor Academy session using a classroom-style approach.
oHelp develop learning/reference materials that can be used by field office leadership
Background in Social Work Required
College Degree is preferred
2-5 years Prior Experience in Social Work Preferred
This Position will require 90% travel throughout Kansas
Travel will include driving a rental car throughout Kansas
