Are you an Administrative Assistant searching for a new opportunity? L-3 STRATIS has it in Reston, VA.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be expected to perform normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files, interviewing callers, and making proper referrals. You will also be arranging meetings, conferences, and receiving, referring, or answering mail. You will review drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage and answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. Other responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: gathering, compiling, and reporting on information relevant to supervisor's assignment.

You must possess strong knowledge of English grammar, as well as excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communications skills. You must be a highly creative, innovative, and motivated self-starter with ability to prioritize multiple tasks. You must possess knowledge of handling proprietary, sensitive, and/or classified information. You must also have the ability to pay strict attention to detail, organize, and maintain hard and softcopy filing systems and accommodate changing requirements and unexpected tasks in a fluid environment and provide quick reaction responses. You will perform complex administrative duties for the manager and staff of a highly visible organization, research and prepare source data for reports and briefings, and work collaboratively in a high pressure, high visibility, and fast paced environment. This position requires the ability to interact effectively with external senior government customers, as well as with all levels of employees and senior management within L-3 STRATIS.


  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and handling multiple projects at the same time
  • Computer savvy with Microsoft Office applications
  • Quick learner and ability to think fast
  • Knowledge about technology industry in general, more specifically, companies, competitors, currently events, etc.
  • Ability to think outside the box and not afraid to make suggestions
  • Aggressive with strong desire to succeed, goal oriented
