AVAILABLE SHIFT: Regular, Part Time, 20 hrs/wk, offering comprehensive benefits package
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 9A - 1P
SALARY: $11.06/hr
The qualified candidate will posses a minimum of an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science or certification from a recognized secretarial program, or, High School Diploma with two (2) years' secretarial experience. Demonstrated knowledge of word processing and Excel necessary.
The Confidential Secretary will actively cooperate with the President/CEO and other staff members in a joint endeavor in satisfactorily achieving the goals of CWI and Competitive Edge.
Act in the capacity of Confidential Secretary for Administrative personnel.
Be responsible for the duties of the general office in relation to:
a. Receptionist duties
b. Telephone and intercom communications
c. Correspondence as requested.
Maintain the Supported Employment program consumer files, including all filing, and organization.
Maintain the Supported Employment reporting requirements, including monthly input of Client Service Reports, as well as summary information for the Director of Career Services.
Assist Supported Employment staff with resume preparation for consumers including changes and printed copies. Prepare on a Monthly basis the employer highlight letter, to be sent to Personnel Group Members indicating available candidate selection. Responsible for requesting candidates for the highlight flyer from both the Supported Employment Program as well as CEOSC.
Maintain database of job opportunities and prepare monthly report for both
Supported Employment Program as well as CEOSC. Assist with the maintenance of the Human Resource employee files for the Unit Employee’s including all filing and organization.
Meet and assist applicants with the completion process of an application for employment services including requesting drivers’ license information as needed, review current listings, mail applications as requested and input applications into data base for Staff Recruiters.
Prepare the orientation packets for Monthly New Employee Orientation. Process all staff leave requests, including input into attendance book on a daily basis. Audit the Benefit Hour Accrual Report for payroll preparation on a biweekly basis. Act as back up for payroll preparation in its entirety as needed. Assist CWI staff with employee issues, including but not limited to, address
changes, tax deduction changes, and requests for information.Prepare New Employee Perceptions Forms and New Employee Welcome Highlight on a monthly basis.
Act as back up to Human Resource Assistant. Cross train to become
knowledgeable in personnel responsibilities of Human Resource Assistant. Attend staff meetings and prepare meeting minutes as directed by the Human Resource Coordinator. Act in any other capacity as directed by the President/CEO.
