The Manager, Field Human Resources is responsible for providing human
resource expertise and leadership for various business partners within
an assigned market/location which could include Sales, CFCs, PowerMax
facilities, CSCs, and/or retail stores. This includes providing support
that is aligned with the business strategy for salary administration,
recruitment, performance management, workforce planning and development,
and all issues related to employment. This position facilitates the
definition and communication of the organizational culture, vision, and
values, which guide the decisions and actions of the managers and
associates. This position interfaces with local market leadership to
review and assess patterns and trends that impact the associate
Position responsibilities / Essential Functions:
1. Contribute to the business strategy by helping business leaders
to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities,
behaviors, structures and processes.
2. Support market/facility leaders in developing a strategic
workforce plan that proactively forecasts and plans their talent
pipeline requirements (hiring, development and retention) in line with
the business strategy.
3. Manage the execution of Human Resources initiatives and processes
within markets and/or facilities which includes staffing, retention,
workforce planning, training, compliance, safety, associate relations,
and associate communications.
4. Assist with or conduct (directly or indirectly) investigations
into a variety of matters including, but not limited to: compliance,
associate relations, and policy/procedure.
5. Maintain a focus for self, team and customer base on continuous,
ongoing learning that will enhance skill set and growth opportunities.
6. Coach market/facility leadership on associate issues, define
appropriate steps to adhere to company policy, and ensure the fair and
equitable administration of company practices.
7. Support and lead the execution of policies, programs, and
standard operating procedures to ensure associate needs are being met
through quantifiable practices to include positive associate relations,
compensation application models, validation of goal setting, career
development, and cross-training.
8. Validate compliance with all legal requirements and government
reporting regulations related to the employment of associates including
OSHA, EEO, ERISA, FLSA guidelines, AAP, Harassment and Discrimination,
and other applicable federal and state requirements.
9. Coach and assist market/facility leaders to lead through and
facilitate organizational change. Demonstrate working knowledge of the
organization#s change management process and exhibit leadership in
establishing structured methodologies that support such HR initiatives
by coaching to address resistance, motivation, building of morale and
improvement of performance. Assist market/facility Human Resources team
in accomplishing Human Resources scorecard metrics by leveraging various
measurement tools designed to evaluate successes and identify
opportunities to further enhance associate engagement levels.
10. Assist market/facility leaders to identify and sustain a focus on
providing associates with development opportunities.
