The position of Lead Client Services Representative is responsible to assist the department supervisor with the daily operations of the Client Services Department including scheduling, assign and oversee daily work tasks, and provide appropriate training. Ensures that all set department and company polices and procedures are followed at all times. This position helps to support the needs of the department staff to encourage growth, create a positive atmosphere and simplify all functions of the department.


    Responsibilities

    • Implements procedures and departmental workflow to meet service level goals; Provides training for Client Services staff as needed;In coordination with supervisor develops and performs competency assessments on Client Services Staff; Assists and troubleshoots in the resolution of difficult calls and/or issues; In coordination with supervisor prepares and maintains work schedules for staff; Oversees daily work in department, assigns daily, weekly, monthly tasks as needed to meet service level needs; Assists department supervisor in the development and organization of procedures; Ability to use CRM to pull reports, create/edit requisitions.


        Requirements

        • High School diploma or equivalent; One year recent experience with Misys Call Back, Inquiry and Reporting Functions;One year of recent full time laboratory Client Services experience; Demonstrate ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment in decision making with minimal supervision; Proficiency in the operation of computers and phone systems; Ability to troubleshoot and resolve difficult client issues and communicate to staff and supervisor as needed; Ability to maintain composure and professional attitude in stressful situations; Ability to work with all levels of departmental personnel maintaining a respectful and professional demeanor with co-workers, clients and all others contacted during the course of the work shift; Ability to problem solve and make decisions


            Preferred education, skills or experience

            • Two years recent experience with Misys, CRM, Cache, Thor and other software used in department; Two years of recent full time laboratory client services experience.
