The speech-language Pathologist Assistant SLPA will work with children who have autism ages 18 mo to 22 years who exhibit difficulties in the areas of language, speech, voice, and fluency in the clinics as well as home visits.

What you will be doing in this position:
Main Duties Include:
Implement goals and treatment plans with SLP supervision

Analyze and interpret data along with the SLP from the diagnostics and assessments in order to develop appropriate individual learning goals and recommendations

Coordinate with supervisor and families

Along with the SLP plan research-based interventions most appropriate for the needs of the clients

Keep accurate progress notes

Planning and Oversight

Collect, maintain, and utilize data for program planning and decision making

Prepare and submit reports to SLP as required

Collaborate with other professionals on the client's team

Managing and Conducting Therapy

Collaborate and consult with Case Director in the management of speech-language disorders

With SLP supervision use data to adjust and modify interventions and instruction appropriately

With SLP supervision design, select, and modify curricula most appropriate to help clients meet their learning goals

Liaison with Teachers, Parents, and Other TBH Associates

Collaborate appropriately with other allied health professionals

Required Skills

Certified as a SLPA

Prior clinical and/or school-based experience providing speech-language services

Ability to travel between home visits and the clinic
