Parsons Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) Program supplies critical land monitoring, rehabilitation, and management services to the US Army at multiple Army installations across the continental United States and Europe.
Through sound land management techniques, Parsons dedicated ITAM staff improve the training and environmental quality of the Army’s training lands providing a quality training experience for the soldier and ensuring continued wise-use of the Army’s training lands well into the future.
The LRAM Light Equipment Operator operates light equipment to repair, maintain, and reconfigure training lands and maneuver access trails.
Equipment used includes but is not limited to: self-propelled light wheeled and tracked vegetation mulchers, agricultural tractors, tub grinders, pickup trucks, and four-wheel-drive vehicles.
The LRAM Light Equipment Operator may also utilize various towed and power-takeoff equipment attachments, including but not limited to: hydro-seeders, drill seeders, fertilizer spreaders, and pesticide sprayers and may also operate various types of light tools including but not limited to: chainsaws, brush saws, pruning saws, stump grinders.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum (1) year demonstrated relevant experience in the operation of the light equipment described above
Capability for field work involving heavy lifting and climbing over rough terrain under various weather conditions.
Persons holding national accredited certifications in equipment operation are preferred.
Ability to work in close but safe proximity to military training.
Persons with GPS experience preferred.
