Iowa State University (ISU) seeks candidates for two tenure-track positions in forefront areas of structural biology and biophysics. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, cryo-EM and single particle imaging techniques, solid-state and solution magnetic resonance spectroscopies, optical and single molecule studies, diffraction methods, and theoretical approaches. This position interfaces with ISU's initiatives in human, animal, and plant health, and provides generous start-up funds. The Assistant Professor will be affiliated with the Departments of Physics & Astronomy (http://www.physastro.iastate.edu), Chemistry (http://www.chem.iastate.edu), and/or Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology (http://www.bbmb.iastate.edu).

PhD in the physical or biological sciences
Evidence of publications in well-regarded journals
Demonstrated interest to establish a program of extramurally-funded research
Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
Demonstrated ability to lead a strong research program in Physics & Astronomy, Chemistry, and/or Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology.
Commensurate with qualifications
