Assist HighMount E&P in subsurface-based exploration and exploitation of their current (and growing) Permian and/or Mid-Continent assets. This is a chance for the aggressive candidate to provide geoscience leadership in a billion+ dollar 'start-up environment' with established leasehold and play concepts.
Ensure the flawless execution of HighMount's Reservoir Characterization and Development drilling plans:
Comprehensive characterization of new and existing play to prospect-level opportunities
Monitoring of upcoming / active 3D acquisitions
Integrate a vast array of data including: petrophysics, 2D/3D seismic, rock mechanics, geochem, and subsurface data
Establish horizontal operations and geosteering as one of HighMount's core competencies
Geoscientist should have the ability to lead from a geoscience perspective among a multi-discipline team for HighMount’s Field Development and Reservoir Characterization activities.
Strong technical, leadership, and communication skills are expected of the candidate. A demonstrated track record of successfully integrating geological and geophysical data in a way that results in increased Production, Reserve Additions, and financial Growth is a must.
Specific software experience in Petra, SMT, Integrated Petrophysics, and Spotfire is a plus. Familiarity with all MS Office products. An understanding of unconventional and conventional petroleum systems is also a must.
