May perform one or more of the following:
Analyzes business processes and performs needs assessments in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.

Interprets business needs and translates them into system requirements.

Writes business specifications and forwards to technical staff for system development.

Interprets systems specifications to develop, maintain and support automated business processes.

Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.

Configures system settings and options, plans and executes acceptance testing, and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

May perform one or more of the following:
·

Lead a group of business analysts in gathering requirements and working with project personnel in development and modification of enterprise-level software system focusing on TPL (third party liability) insurance information.

Interprets business needs and translates them into system requirements

·

Writes business specifications and forwards to technical staff for system development

·

Interprets systems specifications to develop, maintain and support automated business processes

·

Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements

·

Configures system settings and options, plans and executes acceptance testing, and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements

·

All other duties as assigned

Required:
·

5 years of related experience, working as a business analyst and/or as a member of a technical project team.

·

Proven ability to lead others effectively toward meeting deadlines and work standards.

·

College degree (BS/BA) in information technology-related field or business-related field.

·

Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

·

Strong work ethic.

·

Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.

·

Ability to work with high degree of flexibility.

·

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Highly Desirable Qualifications

·

Experience with enterprise-level software system dealing with insurance, demographic data elements, or claims processing, focusing on TPL (third party insurance) information.

·

Experience with gathering requirements and interfacing with customers in a technical environment.

·

Experience with testing software, putting together test presentations, and tracking and reporting test results.
