The Lot Attendant's primary function is to help provide outstanding service to Customers by assisting operators in on time pull outs and the maintenance of all assigned vehicles. Each attendant will demonstrate and promote a "Safety First" lifestyle at the location. Notifies management of any safety hazard in the work area and keeps lot free of debris that could cause damage to vehicles. Keep accurate records monitoring driver pull outs and complete incidents reports detailing any vehicle or equipment related lateness. Stocks appropriate levels' of fluids and other equipment. Inspects all vehicles inside and out to ensure that all problems have been identified and report to maintenance for repairs. The Lot Attendant is responsible for the collection and routine check of all Vehicle Inspection Reports. The Lot Attendant must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include nights and weekends.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must adhere to uniform policy.
Knows the proper radio procedures, and practices radio courtesy.
Observes all holding lot procedures.
Be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing in order to document bus maintenance issues.
Be willing and able to pass physical including a drug test.
Displays professionalism through a positive attitude.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
