JOB SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assesses needs of patients based on history, observation, physical examination, telephone triage and analysis of diagnostic data, renders professional nursing care including administering medications and intravenous fluids, performs complex and routine treatments as prescribed by physicians or nurse practitioners, assists residents, faculty, or nurse practitioner, develops personal knowledge of trends, developments and techniques through in-service programs and etc. programs, coordinates patient care and teaching, provides a safe environment that demonstrates caring, compassion and respect for all patients, patient crisis, emergency situations, and changes in the work environment, contributes to the daily operation and overall performance of the unit.
MINIMAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduated from two year RN accredited school of nursing.
2-4 years work experience in nursing field. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in SC.
