Alabama State University, Enrollment Management, invites applications to fill the position of Retention Specialist. The successful applicant will direct students to resources within the University that provide additional assistant (e.g. financial aid, testing, career services, academic labs and tutorial services); assist with registration of Bridge students’ first year academic program; assist in the implementation of the University’s retention program; assist in the development of educational support plans for student success; monitor and track students’ progress through early alert systems; assist in the collection, analyzing, and reporting of student retention data; meet periodically with students and faculty to discuss academic outcomes; assist in planning, organizing, and presenting workshops and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, education, criminal justice, or related field and 1 years of related experience at the college/university level required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
