Description/Purpose of Position:
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating transfers for the Valley Health System. Evaluates options and services available to meet an individual’s health needs through communication and available resources to promote quality cost-effective outcomes.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Five years clinical experience, minimum two years charge RN experience required. Critical care experience preferred.
Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, and database.
Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department. Strong telecommunication skills and critical thinking ability.
