Our Clinical Dietitian opportunity is currently available with in a continuing care retirement community serving 94 skilled care residents and 80 personal care residents. Independent living population requires wellness and nutrition education.
This position is a part of the management team and reports to the on-site General Manager.
Duties include the following:
Provide direct nutrition care activities such as assessment, care planning, documentation and other types of nutrition for long-term care population to include nutrition assessment, follow-up care, resident education and clinical rounds.
Educate food service staff in diet therapy.
Complete quality assurance monitors and community outreach.
Maintains responsibility for all healthcare nutrition activities including meal service, regulatory compliance, nutrition records and staffing.
Assists other team members in other aspects of food service department management when needed.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in nutrition or nutrition-related field.
Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Licensed to practice dietetics in the appropriate U.S. state(s).
1+ years of clinical healthcare experience desired.
Prefer long-term care clinical experience.
Experience in electronic charting using PointClick Care helpful.
Detail-oriented, energetic candidate interested in culture change and setting trends.
