Summary: Support various projects identified for efforts from the Manufacturing Engineering team in Tulsa. Projects may include tooling & fixturing design, fabrication, and implementation; internal benchmarking of key procedures using factory physics orientation; optimal scheduling of work across multiple machines using scheduling theory and methodology; parametric programming; development and implementation of formal tool life management system using machine capabilities and SAP; partnership with Materials personnel and suppliers to reduce variability in delivery and product configuration. Responsibilities:
Observe processes, assess risks, and identify best opportunities in tooling and fixturing. Complete design, manage fabrication and implementation.
Learn factory physics in order to benchmark our key process and make recommendations for improvements.
Learn scheduling theory and develop a methodology.
Implement a formal tool life management system, integrating the capabilities of the machines in SAP.
Work with materials organization and suppliers to help reduce variability in delivery and in product configuration.
Qualifications: Must have completed 3rd year of 4 year degree Engineering program.
