Wisconsin Public Service, a subsidiary of Integrys Energy Group, is currently recruiting for Associate Electrical Engineers for our offices in Green Bay, WI. This position reports to the Director – Technical Services.
Acquire skills and experience at the assigned field office with direction from the Regional Electric Engineer. Learn the Regional Electric Engineers' roles and responsibilities. Observe and assist various operating departments within the Region. Become familiar with operating policies, goals, equipment, and procedures. Apply information learned during training sessions on related projects at the assigned location. Assist the line crews, electric designers, customer service coordinators, customer service managers, and account management representatives.
Attend scheduled training sessions and learn the responsibilities, procedures, and operation of various staff departments within Electric Distribution Engineering (EDE): - EDE Projects - EDE Standards - EDE Services - EDE Planning - EDE Facilities Systems.
Attend scheduled training sessions and learn the responsibilities, procedures, and operation of various staff and field departments within Substation and Transmission (S&T): - S&T Operations – S&T Design – S&T Maintenance – S&T Engineering – S&T Construction.
Attend scheduled training sessions and learn the responsibilities, procedures, and operation of various staff departments outside of Electric Distribution Engineering: - Account Management - Plant Accounting - Purchasing & Stores - Energy Supply & Control.
Upon completion of the training program the Associate Electrical Engineer will be placed in an Electrical Engineering position within Electric Distribution Engineering, Electric Distribution Operations, or Substation Engineering.
Currently in pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) engineering program, with attainment of the degree required by date of employment.
