Provides oversight (per-deim) of daily operation and program planning of the Guest House to provide a caring, healing and hospitality environment for the residents whose family members are in-patients at PeaceHealth Hospital
1.Manages the daily operation of the Guest House, including guest reservations and registration, fees collection, guest services, housekeeping services, and volunteer services.
2.Plan and implement Guest House programs that include hospitality, recreational, cultural, spiritual and social support, community orientation and residents' transportation needs.
3.Serve as a member of the Center for Mission team, making appropriate referrals to the chaplains on behalf of the residents and the patients.
4.Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training and experience preferred.
Course work and/or seminars in crisis counseling, spiritual care, or medical social issues preferred.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Five years experience in a human services related position required; hospital setting preferred.
OTHER SKILLS: Proficient with MS Office applications
