Location: Rothschild, WI
Manages the coordination of resources (multiple locations possible) to meet overall project requirements. Position supports Sales and Application Engineering groups in the development of sales proposals. Primarily responsibility for post sale communications with customers and for the development of appropriate communications plans; both internally and externally.
Project schedule management (development, logic, accuracy, and updates)
Cost Management: (budget updates, early identification of cost issues and identification of appropriate remedial actions, ensure timely and accurate updates, review budget changes, and report to management)
Coordinates internal document distribution (maintains up to date files, minimizes cost by use of electronic distribution, and minimizes overall distribution of documents)
Reviews sub-supplier documents to ensure compliance with project requirements (specifications, performance…)
Oversees design changes and works with Contract Management (summarizing delays, claims, back-charges, and contract requirements)
Has a clear understanding of the sold product (reviews, understands, and insures compliance with required contract documents including commercial and technical specifications, scope, schedule, and performance requirements).
Prepares contract correspondences and provides guidance and assistance to any required Field Installation and start-up effort.
Provides support to the Procurement Group for project related purchases (specifications, budgets, deliveries, performance)
Prepares monthly reports as required by customers and/or management.
Shipping coordination and change order support is required.
Complies with the PM@Siemens guidelines for project execution (Training in these guidelines will be provides as necessary)
Position requires a BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical) or Significant experience with Project Management and Engineering. 3-5 years of Project Management, or Project Engineering experience in a similar environment .
PMI or PM@Siemens Certification a plus. If not currently certified, it will be required that successful candidate pursues this certification.
Good general understanding of process equipment (piping, pressure vessels, structural steel, water treatment equipment, pumping systems…) and technical specifications used in the O&G market.
Project Engineering experience a plus.
PE License a plus.
