The Systems Engineer will deploy, monitor and configure Active Directory, Exchange and IIS environments. Manage group policy and configure enterprise data protection systems in support of hospital security policy. Monitor network performance and conduct necessary maintenance to support network reliability, robustness and security. Works with existing team members to evaluate and make recommendations for network, storage and bandwidth capacity planning. Maintain local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems. Maintain network hardware and software to include voice (VOIP), wired and wireless switches, routers and controllers. Build and deploy Windows, Linux and Unix based servers and implement software upgrades and deployments. Manage Citrix and VMWare hardware virtualization environments. Designs, implement, monitor and test back-up and disaster recovery solutions to include SAN and NAS environments.
Hiring Range Description:
Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Information Technology or Management Information Systems required.
Minimum of 5 years Information Technology systems management experience preferred. Experience in Healthcare IT desirable. Systems Security, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Citrix experience favorable.
Special Skills / Other:
CCNP, CCNA, CCSP, CPHIMS certification preferred.
Driver’s license; travel to other sites and hospital clinics may be required.
