Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in French. Emphases in the areas(s) of literature-monde, translational/transcultural French studies, and/or Francophone studies.
Preferred Qualifications: Native or near native knowledge of French. Knowledge in the areas of Francophone studies. Able to teach large classes in English. Evidence of research and teaching in European Studies.
Responsibilities & Requirements: Full time position in European Languages, Literatures, and Cultures teaching various levels of French language and culture with a typical course load of five classes per academic year according to departmental needs including large enrollment, lower, upper-division, and graduate students. Advisory and Administrative interactions with students.
