The Marketing ROI Analyst will analyze all marketing channel performance (search engine optimization, search engine marketing, affiliate advertising, display advertising, social media, video, mobile, television, radio, print, and direct mail) and feed actionable insight to the various marketing channel managers in order to optimize existing media buys and campaigns, the Creative Manager to improve creative performance, and to the marketing channel managers in order to improve performance throughout the entire customer experience, including remarketing efforts to existing clients. This role is responsible for continual website conversion and audience analysis, and communicating actionable insights to the Marketing and Development teams. Analyzes audience demographic, psychographic, attitudinal, and behavioral data in conjunction with back end campaign data in order to advise and recommend sound media buying decisions, thus increasing marketing efficiency and reducing customer acquisition costs. The appropriate candidate must have experience analyzing media, creative, and website performance from online media campaigns. The ideal candidate must have experience analyzing media campaigns and consumer behavior in a business to consumer environment, and be familiar with a variety of tools for segmenting audiences and analyzing media performance. This role will provide support for the marketing department and other departments throughout the sales funnel by performing the following duties: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Daily analysis of all website traffic, including analyzing web data to determine correlative analysis between web behavior and campaign performance.
Study and reporting of social media’s impact on website traffic and consumer behavior
Benchmarking data for cross-media optimization
Analysis of email campaign performance in order to identify the most responsive customer segments
Analysis of the effect of website testing and optimization on cost savings and incremental lead generation
Provides information and insights regarding customers, customer behavior, markets, competitors, and campaign effectiveness to measure performance and support business decisions.
Daily analysis of campaign effectiveness and creative optimization.
Aids in campaign optimization through in-depth reporting and scrutiny
A/B testing and analysis of email creative in order to identify optimal messaging by customer segment
Predictive analysis for ad spending and for remarketing
70% analytics versus 30% reports / report building
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Individual must have a 4-year college degree, marketing, advertising, business, finance, statistics, or marketing analytics a plus. A minimum of 6 years of marketing analysis experience is required. Applicants should also have previous experience and history of proven success performing the above described duties. Individual should be well versed in the use of computers, the Internet, MS Excel, PowerPoint and experience using website analytics and business intelligence analytic tools. Pluses would include experience with Omniture, past experience working in the financial industry and/or having experience with an analytics Agency.
