We have two exciting, unique opportunities for internships in our IT Department located in Morristown, NJ. In this role you will interact with the Information Technology Team including senior executives and IT leads. Become part of a talented team, building core technical and business skills while gaining exposure to the dynamic pharmaceutical industry. The IT Internwill support on-going projects in alignment with the 2013 IT Department objectives.

The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic about his /her work, will enjoy working closely with other members of the organization to contribute to the success of Capsugel, will utilize technology resources productively, and will be able to work on a wide range of tasks.

2013 initiatives include, but are not limited to:
IT Process documentation Examples: Off-boarding process; eDiscovery process; project initiation process

IT Projects. Examples: Active Directory Data Clean-up; Network diagram

IT Vendor performance analysis.

Preparation and analysis of IT vendor service reports.

IT Training Material Preparation. Examples SAP,, Blue Mountain, etc.

Qualified candidates must have the following skills and attributes:

Must be a minimum of a rising junior studying Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similarly focused field.

A thinker with solid analytical skills, high-energy, and can-do attitude

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Must have excellent communication skills both verbally and written and a strong command of the English language.

Ability to work independently and coordinate projects

Ability to handle multiple demands and priorities simultaneously and take responsibilities seriously

Excellent presentation and prioritization skills; some experience presenting to senior leaders (or professors)

High level of professionalism to interact with internal clients and external parties

Must have a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel

Ability to exercise good judgment in dealing with confidential matters

Willingness to learn new skills

Strong attention to detail

Local candidates preferred (< 1 hour commute)

This is a paid 10 week internship. It is expected that the candidate would work full time from beginning May 29th.
