This position is located in the Engineer Advocacy Branch; Logistics Plans, Policies and Strategic Mobility Division; Installations and Logistics Department; Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps in Arlington, VA. The mission of the Branch is to develop Marine Corps policies related to all elements of logistics including, but not limited to the structure, requirements, supply, maintenance, acquisition logistics, sustainment logistics, civilian and active forces logistics education, supply chain management, distribution, warehousing, storage, packaging, clothing and disposal, to ensure the critical enabling logistics functions of engineer and explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) capabilities are properly aligned and resourced to support the operating forces and supporting establishment. The Branch ensures the logistics development and integration of engineer and EOD requirements to include, but not limited to, doctrine, policy, concepts, structure, acquisition and training within the operational forces and the supporting establishment.

- Provides logistics support and analysis, fiscal oversight, advice and assistance to achieve the conduct of the mission and operations of the branch.
- Participates in key decisions affecting both internal and external logistics functions and operations of the branch, as well as developing current and future logistics capabilities.
- Coordinates work production within the branch and maintains situational awareness to ensure the branch remains focused on current and future service-level logistical planning in support of engineering and explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) logistics policy, and the branch role in analyzing logistics processes and functions.
- Provides service-level logistics coordination of Marine Corps EOD support to U.S. Secret Service and Department of State.

- Mastery of advanced logistics support in support of engineering and explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) tactics, techniques and procedures.
- Applying Marine Corps logistics planning processes to plan for, publish, write and establish logistics contingency doctrine and policy.
- Applying logistics functions and operations across Marine Corps, the other Services, the Joint Staff and the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and applying logistics activities in support of strategic, operational and tactical engineering and EOD, to include prior experience in engineer and EOD-related operational advisory groups.
- Planning, organizing and leading logistics support for engineering and EOD study teams and negotiatiang effectively with high level officials to accept implementation recommendations.
