Duties & Responsibilities
This position supports two groups within ITS. While working with either group, the person must consider accuracy of their work, maintain and update documentation for the work they do to assist in information sharing within the team. Works effectively with others toward the common goals of exemplary customer service and prompt issue resolution. Researches questionable or missing data and resolves issues using standard protocols.

Media Services: While supporting Media Services this positions primary focus is support for the Media Services Coordinator. The ITS Assistant is one of two people who are the first point of contact for this fast-paced department which provides AV support to the staff, students and faculty at Harvard Law School. While supporting the Media Services Coordinator, the Assistant’s primary responsibilities include: checking phones, email and walkups for AV requests. E nters, updates and maintains information in EMS and other Media Services database. Keeping track of physical media and media duplications, loaning out equipment and supporting technicians in the field.

Network and Data Services: While supporting NDS, this position focuses on working with the team on special projects including performing Q/A on systems, assisting with rolling out new technology and assisting the team as necessary.

Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma.

Additional Qualifications
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with a strong dedication to customer service
  • Must demonstrate consistent commitment to supporting teamwork within the group
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications desirable
  • Proficiency with PC and Mac platforms
