If you are selected for this position, you will serve as an Information Technology Specialist " Systems Analysis in the Applications Development Division (ADD) in the Office Information Technology (OIT), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). You will oversee the planning, coordinating, and conducting of projects and studies and be responsible for developing, integrating, and implementing solutions to diverse, complex problem. Typical duties include:
Managing and providing technical oversight for large multi-disciplined and multiple software development teams involved in different phases of the system development life cycle.
Managing and analyzing software/hardware applications projects.
Developing business and functional requirements with clients and customers. Preparing Statement of Work development, cost estimating, project plan and schedule development, budget preparation and tracking, technical specification and performance reviews, and contract management for program projects.
Managing support and operations for the implementation of applications software and hardware analysis, and coordinating testing, modification, and functionality upgrades to customer applications.
Serving as the Government Project Manager (GPM) responsible for NET development, SharePoint Development, Project Management, and 508 Compliance.
Specialized experience needed for the position includes:
Applying information technology business process concepts and methods to conduct studies to identify improvements and new technologies;
Utilizing information technology analysis principles, techniques, requirements and procedures for systems design, program design, and database and file design and to evaluate new technologies; and
Demonstrated experience in system and software development life cycles for Microsoft, Net, and Mobile applications, Cloud Computing, and other software applications.
