Abel's on the Lake is looking to hire a motivated and experienced Line Chef to work in a fun, fast-paced and rewarding environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with proven culinary experience to take the next step towards growing into an Sous Chef role.
Day-to-day responsibility for food operations, including preparation, presentation and budgeting while ensuring the highest level of health and safety practices, policies and procedures are maintained
Coordinates activities of the BOH staff
Execute high volume production
Assists in ordering and inventory control
Responsible for maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with regulatory agencies
Manage cost controls and control expenditures
Associates Degree in Culinary Arts, Restaurant Management or related field preferred
Catering experience is strongly preferred
Knowledge of budgets, labor costs, inventory controls
Desire to grow into a Sous Chef position
