Hilton Garden Inn - Ames, IAseeks qualifiedHOUSEKEEPING MANAGERfor Immediate PlacementPosition Purpose: Manages and supervises housekeeping operations to include rooms, laundry, public areas, department storage areas, and work areas. Maintain level of cleanliness of hotel and services provided by the department. Enforces policies, procedures, training and standards for Hotels chain and PHD Hospitality LLC. Will meet or exceed all relevant performances standards which include quality of work, productivity, technical knowledge, communication, teamwork, leadership, project management skills and standards of conduct. Able to perform other duties that will better the department or hotel Ensures that quality services are rendered by the department in meeting guests needs, and that good guest relations are enhanced. Interviews and selects housekeeping staff. Schedules staff according to occupancy. Meets with the General Manager to discuss room quality as reflected on Room Inspection Reports. Monitors and maintains levels of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms and public areas. Compiles and reports accurate status of guestrooms to the front office Maintains standard procedures for the acceptance, security and return on guest lost and found items. Maintains the productivity and labor costs goals. Provides team members with adequate supplies and operating equipment. Conducts monthly inventory of linen, supplies and equipment. Orders and receives supplies as necessary to maintain inventory levels (par stock). Maintain security of house persons and room cleaners keys, department keys and keys left in guestrooms. Participates in other management programs as necessary. Job Training Brand Standard Training Requirements- 60 day completion with 6 month working knowledge PHD Hospitality LLC Standard Training Requirements- 90 day completion with 6 month working knowledge On the job training requirements- 2 week completion with 90 day (probationary period) working knowledge Learning of the Property Management System (housekeeping section)

Bachelors degree or combination of advanced education and equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years overall hotel experience required.Travel To include necessary training, hotel support/operational coverage and company meetings as required.
