MANAGERIAL/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for day-to-day function of the Pulmonary Function Department.

Education/Training: Graduate of an AMA-approved respiratory care program required. License/Certification: Registered or Certified Pulmonary Function Technician with the National Board for Respiratory Care required. Licensed Respiratory Care Practitionary with Washington State Department of Health required. Require current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials preferred. Active member of the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC) preferred.
Experience: One year previous hospital-based work experience in Pulmonary Function required. Prefer minimum two years’ experience in performing a wide range of testing, including cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
Skills & Abilities: Ability to maintain a professional, even-tempered demeanor. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Ability to arrive on time and promptly start work day. Ability to maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance. Ability to communicate effectively with patients. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
