Provide Human Resources information, assistance and guidance to employees as the ‘First Level Contact’ for the HR dept and process Time & Attendance for TIMET-Henderson.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Verify all time and payroll reports for accuracy prior to payroll run.
Assist employees with general HR questions and issues.
Notification to Exton Center of Operations of all weekly direct payroll entries and/or payroll changes and adjustments needed.
Maintain (filing) of records for hourly and salaried personnel, insurance records, retiree files, security call-off log, contracting out notices, etc.
Prepare, distribute and send HR department mail, Fed Ex, etc. (Plant wide mail duty monthly as well as occasional mass-mailing projects).
Create new and replacement badges for employees (from photo ID’s).
Generate annual vacation and floating holiday quotas for all employees.
Verify corrections for Henderson, Nevada payroll to Exton Center of Operations payroll staff for final processing and transmission via SAP software.
Complete Verifications of Employment, written and verbal.
Complete unemployment claims information.
Log and file employment applications.
Order and maintain department supplies from outside vendors and warehouse.
Prepare new hire orientation packets.
Order VISA gift cards as applicable and send information to Payroll for “gross up” purposes, distribute service awards and anniversary cards to plant manager.
Prepare Lock out/Tag out ID Tags.
Order and sell movie tickets.
Update company bulletin boards, HR site on SharePoint, Electronic Communication boards, etc.
Perform other tasks, duties and projects as assigned.
1-2 years of Human Resources amdinistration/record keeping and time adiminstration/payroll functions. General
payroll knowledge, familiarity with payroll processes and HR processes, intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, SAP or related HRMS experience preferred.
