POSITION PURPOSE

We are currently seeking a Lead Financial Analyst in our Global Operations Finance department. In this exciting role the candidate will develop and refine complex analytics to support key global business decisions across our global platform.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain financial and operational information in order to create reports to support business decisions.

Lead collaboration with business partners to develop and refine reporting requirements.

Perform variance analysis between actual and standard cost as well as periodic variance analysis.

Perform trend analysis, what-if scenario, and strategic decision support.

Apply data mining techniques to unstructured data sets.

Provide recommendations for the implementation of new operational procedures and/or reporting processes.

Responsible for manipulating and extracting data for decision support purposes.

Prepare detailed reporting to senior management regarding global product costing and transfer pricing.

Provide support to regional manufacturing locations.

Partner with other departments to ensure that project and reporting deadlines are met.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced organization and will excel in working independently and as part of an integrated financial team.

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 2-4 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Preferred that the candidate has a cost accounting background in a manufacturing setting. SAP experience preferred. Must possess strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to be precise and detail oriented.

Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents. Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence. Ability to work with groups of people such as other departments and communicate known concepts. Ability to present to a group of departments.
