Position Summary: Responsible for basic secretarial and office duties for Director, Manager and/or Customer Service staff which includes keyboarding, answering telephones, running monthly reports, creation of mailing labels, mailing packets to members, receiving, and sorting and sending faxes for the CS staff. Orders office supplies for the CS department. Serves as a backup for the Switchboard operator for breaks, lunches, and vacations.

Experience: Two years secretarial experience or equivalent college education or equivalent outside work experience.

Other Knowledge/Skills: The ability to read, write and perform mathematics and follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to use a fax machine, copier, and telephone. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to accept direction from CS management team. Must be able to project a professional, pleasant image while interacting with a variety of personalities and cultures. Must demonstrate tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions. Should have strong communication and customer service skills and respect for confidentiality. Must have ability to plan, prioritize, and complete tasks, and meet deadlines under stress with frequent interruptions.
