Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
  • Develop, coordinate and implement strategies and plans associated with all aspects of group sales of 4-499 and renewal of groups of 51-499 including ancillary
  • Manage the agents through the BCBSF sales process to achieve sales, ancillary and renewal goals
  • Manage resolution of service issues in collaboration with sales support staff
  • Educate agents on BCBSF sales process, products, pricing, policies and procedures
  • Build relationships with agents and individuals internal/external to the sales organization who support servicing, renewing and selling of our products
  • Promote BCBSF brand, mission and values through strategic community and civic involvement
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 or more years of demonstrated, successful health insurance, account services or group renewal experience
  • Active Health and Life Insurance License
  • 3 or more years of experience developing and delivering presentations
  • Demonstrate experience in organizing and addressing complex business issues with problem solving skills
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Frequent travel with occasional overnight stays
Business Specific Criteria (preferred skills):
  • Active Florida Health and Life Insurance License
  • Knowledge of BCBSF policies and procedures
  • Professional designations within the insurance industry (e.g. RHU, CLU)
  • Established working relationships with local brokers/agents
