Candidates must have a bachelor's degree, a minimum of 24 months experience where developing software and reporting in a relational database environment was your primary duty. Experience with ERP software maintenance and development, application integration and ability to work collaboratively with IS staff and end users at all levels of technical ability. The position requires excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, and commitment to outstanding client service. Experience with ORACLE, SQL, PL/SQL, and LINUX is required. Knowledge of ARGOS, C/C++, and JAVA is highly desirable but not required. The position requires a broad understanding of enterprise administrative computing systems, technology trends, and in-depth experience delivering and supporting technology services to a wide range of users. Preference will be given to those meeting the above criteria and having experience in higher education specifically with Ellucian's Banner ERP system.

Job Concepts:
Provide support for University's ERP systems. Develop, test, modify, and document new or existing application programs using accepted standards, procedures and guidelines. Assist with identifying and resolving software, machine, and data problems. Implement in-house and vendor supplied applications software. Meet with users to determine needs. Train technical and non-technical personnel in regards to data processing activities. Assist with evaluating and analyzing requests for enhancements or development projects. Install patches and enhancements to programs as provided by vendors. Maintain security for vendor supplied applications. Assist Associate Director in planning and developing policies, procedures, and daily activities. Work in other capacities as needed or determined by supervisor.
