Job Summary:
KBACE is seeking bright, diligent people to join our HCM Techno-functional organization. The basic requirements include a strong command of the tools with which the Oracle(R) Applications are built, and have performed significant technical tasks with these tools with the Oracle(R) Applications. These tasks should include, but not be limited to, interfaces, forms, and reports. The Consultant's role is to write, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production life cycle. The Consultant will also analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion.

The ability to make functional contributions will make a difference in evaluating candidates. Candidates should have worked in a collaborative environment with an offshore development group and have working knowledge and best practices in this environment.

Oracle Applications experience in Oracle HCM (Payroll, Benefits, etc) is strongly preferred.

During the interview candidates should be able to discuss:
How to register a custom application with the Oracle(R) Applications
How to register a concurrent program for an interface through the Forms that includes a Korn Shell script with parameters
How to work with Oracle(R) Application's custom library
PL/SQL package usage and performance techniques
Oracle(R) database concepts

Requirements for the Job:
University degree in the field of computer science or software engineering
Working technical knowledge of programming languages, including Oracle(R) PL/SQL and JAVA
Strong database and operating systems experience with Oracle(R), UNIX and Microsoft(R) NT
Thorough understanding of platforms such as Oracle(R) Applications
Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
Highly logical
Technically proficient
Highly self-motivated and directed
Keen attention to detail
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Travel requirements are 70+%

Duties consistent with Oracle consulting, including but not limited to:

Identifying business requirements and mapping them to Oracle Application functionality.
Identifying functionality gaps and developing solutions to them.
Configuring the Oracle Applications to meet client requirements.
Writing business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions and application extensions, and writing end-user documentation and training materials.
Interacting with the client and KBACE project team members.
Defining testing scenarios and developing test scripts.
Delivering end-user training.
Providing status and issue reports to the Project Manager on a regular basis.

Strong English written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to work positively and effectively with clients and KBACE team members.
