We are looking for a dynamic, proven Sales professional for the South. The ideal candidate will create and execute Business Development activities which will directly result in the attainment of assigned sales goals.

•Meet or exceed established Territory KPIs, maintain active business plan pipeline, manage, maintain & update customer profiles
•Execute sales process with distributors and operators by using CFG’s solutions based selling approach.
•Coach and provide direction to Business Development Managers that close sales opportunities with great efficiency, producing expected results through customers that recognize the value of CFG’s offering
•Introduce and train Distributor Sales Representatives on CFG’s product lines and reinforce that training through visiting their customers (operators) at their facilities/locations
•Work with Distributor Sales Representatives in a supportive and collaborative manner presenting the CFG product lines to operator base of business 4 days per week
•Provide operator support while utilizing the solution based sales approach of introducing menu ideas, implementing menu-mention programs, supporting Distributor Sales Representatives, through training, sampling, increasing sales through the Distributor’s operator base of customers and offering solution based proposals
•Execute follow-up plans as directed by the Executive Director Business Development as needed for Distributor Sales Representatives or customers
•Provide street based competitive intelligence through documented communication with Executive Director Business Development
•Monitor & maintain current competitive information and communicate with Category Solutions Group as well as Business Solutions Group team members through documented communications
•Possess and utilize the most up to date sales materials, to include but not limited to: CFG business forms, call reports, outlook calendars, updated price lists, sales surveys, and marketing materials
•Earn and maintain internal certifications on all product lines
•Participating in industry events and using networking principles to open new avenues for growth
•Food show trade show support
•Conduct business consistent with CFG direction by adopting the CFG sales process, providing solution based proposals, meet or exceeding growth objectives
•Collaborate with Customer Experience Account Managers to provide updates, forecasts and communicate/monitor strategic direction for assigned distributors
•Grow professionally through continuous education: stay up-to-date on innovative products and programs, industry regulations and strive to improve sales performance
•Ability to work in a team based selling approach to achieve business goals
•Ability to train and educate a range of audiences – executives, corporate chefs, sales managers and operators
•Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions with internal and external customers

•Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) is preferred.
•3 or more years experience selling in the food services industry
•Must have a valid Driver's License
•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, and general connectivity of laptops and mobile devices
