Avenge, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager for the Aviation Operations Division at its Dulles, VA Headquarters for federal government contract work. The Program Manager will have the primary responsibility for the daily administrative management of a number of aviation programs. The Program Manager will be the primary supervisor/manager of the employees working within the program.
The Program Manager will be responsible for all staffing and personnel issues within his/her purview, and set effective performance objectives. The Program Manager will be the primary point of contact for business partners and customers. The Program Manager will have the primary responsibility of monitoring, managing and reporting upon all aspects of resource allocations against obligations and limitations of aviation contracts for the flight operations program. The Program Manager will monitor and manage program hours, tracking utilization and burn rate over program lifecycle.
The Program Manager works directly for the Director of Aviation Operations and will work closely with the Aviation Operations Scheduler and representatives from the Chief Pilot, Training, Accounting and Contracts Department to coordinate contract activities and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. The Program Manager will be the primary liaison between Corporate staff and all of the employees within the programs regarding the correct dissemination and application of charge codes for time and expenses. The Program Manager will review and approve all designated employee time cards and expense reports. The position requires strong leadership, program/project management, analytical, financial, reporting, communications and interpersonal skills.
A qualified candidate should possess a degree in business administration, finance or related field. A qualified candidate should have a Project Management Professional Certification. A qualified candidate should have 10+ years of relevant Program Management experience, including compliance and financial budgeting experience. A qualified candidate should have 10+ years of Aviation experience.
A background as a fixed or rotor wing pilot is preferred. A solid background in a military service is strongly preferred. Experience working in an Aviation operation conforming to Department of Defense Part 95-20 requirements a plus. Experience working in a FAA Part 135 Aviation operation a plus.
Experience in the field of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance a plus. Experience in writing technical proposals to Department of Defense solicitations is a plus. This position requires occasional travel both CONUS and OCONUS. Must be ready, willing and able to travel into austere overseas site locations.
