Attend daily stand-up meeting and weekly CEO meeting.
  • Set up initial AR file containing billing parameters.
  • Review bills prior to mailing to ensure that all charges have been posted and that back-up for all charges is available.
  • Establish and maintain a close relationship with the various departments who have input for the AR billing to ensure accuracy and completeness. These departments are primarily reservations, sales, conference services and food & beverage.
  • Maintain established timelines for processing and mailing statements. Send bills to clients in a timely manner.
  • Make collection calls as needed.
  • Track for further action cancellations and/or guarantee shortfalls.
  • Investigate billing discrepanies and chargebacks.
  • Respond to customer/guest phone calls and billing inquiries and accounting issues efficiently and courteously.
  • Address credit card problems, questions, and concerns including chargebacks.
  • Provide back-up for income auditing function.
  • Carry out the policies and procedures of Stonewall Resort and Benchmark Hospitality while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism and teamwork atmosphere as per standards of service.
  • Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide assistance in other job classifications and special projects as needed or determined by Controller

  • Requirements
    • Prior Accounting experience, knowledge of computerized account system desired.
    • Excel Spreadsheet capabilities.
    • Previous experience with Microsoft Office helpful.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
    • Ability to research information.
    • Polite, but firm, telephone etiquette.
    • Mathmatical ability.
    Technical Requirements:
    • Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.

    • Meet/exceed customer expectations.
    • Computer experience strongly desired.

    Compensation Wage Compensation is based upon experience. Hours Full Time, Permanent
