INTRODUCTION: This
position is located WHFTC. The primary purpose of this position is to represent
the commander in day to day operations.

You must obtain/maintain a compatible military position DUTIES:

DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Plans and provides assistance to
ensure the required training, personnel, administration, logistics, strength
and public relations objectives are achieved and requirements are accomplished.
Provides overall guidance for the full time force of the unit. Anticipates and
recommends solutions for the needs of the unit in all aspects of mobilization
readiness. Provides day to day supervision of all unit full time support.
Advises the commander on training, logistics, personnel and unit mobilization
readiness requirements and ensures the unit develops, updates, and maintains
comprehensive mobilization plans. Serves as the primary point of contact for
input into the unit readiness reports. Manages the military school program for
the unit. Prepares and/or reviews training directives, individual training
records, operation orders, mobilization plans, SOP's and readiness reports.
Forecasts, allocates, and monitors the usage of training ammunition for the
unit. Ensures the armory is properly cared for. Maintains working relationships
with local officials, clubs, etc for a variety of purposes. Coordinates the
recruiting and retention efforts of the unit with full time Recruiting and
Retention personnel. In the absence of assigned janitorial staff, works with
the other assigned personnel to care for, clean and maintain the National Guard
Armory. Provides day to day supervision for AGR soldiers and dual status
technicians. Incumbent may be required to prepare for and support the
mission through the accomplishment of duties pertaining to military training,
military readiness, force protection and other mission related assignments
including, but not limited to, training of traditional Guard members, CWDE/NBC
training, exercise participation (ORE/ORI/UCI/MEI/OCI/IG, etc.), mobility
exercise participation, FSTA/ATSO exercise participation, SABC training, LOAC
training, weapons qualification training, participation in military formations,
and medical mobility processing within the guidelines of NGB/ARNG/ANG/State/TAG
rules, regulations and laws. (A more comprehensive detailed description of the

candidate is required to be assigned to a compatible military unit and MOS/AFSC
in accordance with TPR 303. Predominant
MOS of the unit or organization

GENERAL
KNOWLEDGE : Administrative or
clerical experience, education, or training which demonstrates the candidate’s
ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience using computer and
automation systems

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Must have at least 18
months experience in the interpretation and application of regulations,
procedures or laws. Experience that provided a thorough knowledge of
administrative functions. Experience utilizing research tools. Experience
providing guidance and setting priorities.

OTHER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR THIS POSITION : SELECTEE WILL BE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DIRECT DEPOSIT/ELECTRONIC FUND TRANSFER PROGRAM. THIS POSITION REQUIRES A PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL PRIOR TO PLACEMENT.
