Job Description:Responsibilities:
Perform technical recruiting functions Source resumes to
identify qualified candidates for contracts and
proposals; specifically IT candidates Upload resumes
into Applicant Tracking System User applicant tracking
system to manage candidates Maintain and build candidate
database and pipeline Conduct initial phone screen on
candidates Coordinate interviews and employment
application and background check Negotiate offer;
coordinate offer acceptance and on boarding process Go
to college recruiting events and other network events to
network with potential candidates for pipeline
recruiting Deliver new employee orientation and follow
up with new hires to increase retention rate Meet with
Project Managers and Program Managers to understand
their recruiting needs proactively; assist them to draft
job descriptions and job requisitions Attend operations
meetings to develop proactive recruiting and retention
plans Attend proposal meetings to understand
requirements for proposal and recruit candidates on
contingent hire basis Develop programs to reduce time to
fill and increate retention rate Manage staffing
agencies, job boards and recruiting budget Manage the
staffing level and all staffs within the recruiting
department in the future Provide managements with status
reports on an ongoing basis

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated candidates to

The ideal candidate must be energetic, outgoing people
person with IT technical recruiting experience in
Federal Government Contracting and/or Healthcare IT
arena and proven hiring record.

Must have BA or BS degree in psychology, business
administration, political science, criminal justice,
marketing, communication, or information
system/engineering/computer science 45+ wpm typing speed
with high accuracy 7+ years of experience in technical
recruiting in Government contracting and IT arena
  • Track record in hiring IT candidates within required
time frame and meeting hiring
deadline, especially for proposals
Proven ability to understand the business needs and
requirements Proven success in sourcing candidates using
job boards, internet and various databases Known ability
to learn quickly, to understand Information Technology,
Financial and grants management terminology Excellent
organization skills and ability to be multi-tasking
Strong work ethics; hardworking and driven Strong
inter-personal communication and people skills Strong
verbal and written communication skills
