About the Opportunity

  • Work seamlessly with client staff as part of a multi-channel marketing center of excellence that serves both the US brand teams and marketing teams around the world.
  • Drive adoption by the client’s brand teams and agencies of Epsilon and client-proprietary best practices in e-mail creative design.
  • Develop targeting and segmentation strategies in collaboration with client marketing teams.
  • Identify valuable third-party list sources and assist the client’s procurement team in negotiating for their use.
  • Advise client marketing teams on e-mail performance measurement, testing/optimization, benchmarks, and other analytic issues.
  • Develop policies and procedures to ensure client marketing teams are making efficient, high-impact use of available internal and rented customer lists.
  • Work with other Epsilon digital marketing experts to continually build Epsilon’s intellectual capital—identifying new best practices, understanding emerging platforms, staying on top of industry trends, and keeping the entire Epsilon team informed.
  • Identify appropriate opportunities and lead pitches to sell in additional Epsilon work, including creative development and advanced analytics.
  • Strengthen Epsilon’s already strong reputation with the client by being a collaborative, expert partner. This position will be client facing from day one—all day, every day.
  • Position is on site at client’s headquarters in the northwestern Philadelphia suburbs.
  • 10 - 20% travel required
Qualifications

  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, and collaborative skills, as demonstrated by 6+ years in high-visibility, client-facing agency/consulting roles or on in a client marketing organization.
  • 3+ years with direct responsibility for pharma e-mail program development, execution, and measurement (for either consumer or healthcare professional audiences).
  • 3+ years experience in non-personal promotion to healthcare professionals.
  • Deep knowledge of EITHER the creative development process OR e-mail analytics is required
  • Broad experience with other digital/direct marketing channels (e.g., direct mail, Web sites, digital media) is a major plus.
  • International pharma marketing experience is a plus.
  • Digital/direct marketing experience outside pharma is a plus.
