The College is seeking a candidate for a full time System Programmer/Analyst to support the College's diverse and changing programming environment. The college's computing environment consists primarily of applications running on a framework of the Oracle Database platform, including the Banner Student System, Oracle E-Business Financials and HR applications, and numerous support applications to manage library, ID card, housing, parking, food service, etc. We are looking for an individual to join a team of highly capable technologists supporting the campus computing and programming environment, with a very strong project focus. The position requires a high level of systems analyst skills, technical competency and familiarity with the processes in higher education. Responsibilities of the position include analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of systems, applications and reporting solutions. The successful candidate will be able to work in a dynamic environment and possess strong organizational skills. Interpersonal skills, being a team player, ability to prioritize and communication skills are essential.

Minimum Qualifications: A BA/BS degree or equivalent, plus programming experience and strong SQL or PL/SQL programming skills. The candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills; technical experience supporting an enterprise class Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Suite; strong organizational skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Technical Programming experience with EITHER: a current version of the Oracle E-Business Applications suite or the Sungard Banner Student System. Experience administering and making use of Oracle Discoverer, IBM Cognos, TOAD, ColdFusion or PHP are highly desired, or similar skills in the Sungard Banner suite of products. Experience with java is a plus.
