Coordination of a process forecast within the S&OP to provide the plants with a demand plan at SKU level based on a statistical baseline and inputs by marketing and sales organizations.
  • Lead Demand Interview Process
  • Acts as a primary interface between marketing and sales
  • Ensure coordination with finance to evaluate the forecast at net sales values and validate against the divisional strategy.
  • Facilitates review and maintenance of Customer Specific Sub-inventory management / replenishments etc
  • Constantly improving forecasting methods
  • Suggesting exceptions and changes of statistical models
  • Ensuring that launch and obsolescence plans are included in the forecast.
  • Analysis & Reporting of Demand Forecast, including Root cause
  • Key Account Planning support & advocate
  • Participates in system upgrades, enhancements, and implementation for the supply chain planning organization

    Coordinate overall WW Demand Planning activities, including Statistical Forecasts, Sales and Marketing Market Intelligence, Customer specific inputs, Financial Plans and New Product Development.

    Liaises with Product Management to drive insight to future trends for longer term planning / capacity analysis purposes in support of longer term capacity analysis requirements at the Master Scheduler function [Rough Cut Capacity Planning]

    Leads Demand review steps of the S&OP process. Provides input and direction to High Level Demand Review

    Systematic and ad-hoc SKU and Customer analysis, trending and forecasting modelling

    Continous improvement to Forecast Accuracy. Analysis of forecast errors, drivers and root causes, implements models / processes to improve accuracy of demand forecast.

    Leads Strategic Demand review of product portfolio with Product Management. Actively supports Product Management in managing the Product Life Cycle Management of the portfolio

    Supports Product Management in preparation of Demand-side Planning for Business Review

    Supports BIOP Key Account program as the Planning point of contact for Product & Sales Management. Represents Supply Chain planning as appropriate with Sales and Marketing management as Key Customer Planning advocate

    Initiates and drives systematic review of demand-side dynamics on the supply chain with Master Scheduler / Operations counterpart

    Compiles Demand-side reporting & analysis as appropriate

    Maintain Demand Planning Meeting Invites, Agendas, Presentations & Notes

    Sets Global item status. Notifies Master Scheduler of Item Status Changes.

    Sets Local Item Status in all DRP orgs, in accordance with Global Item Status and related business rules. Notifies Master Scheduler of Item Status Changes.

    Daily / Weekly Activities:

    Review of Demand-side performance metrics

    Review of supply-side impacts on delivery with Product Management

    Weekly achievement / sell through report - Frozen forecast vs Realised Sales and/or Open Orders
