Intel Foundry Product Lead
Job Description: The Foundry Project Lead (FPL) is a new role being formed within the Intel Custom Foundry organization to provide end-to-end product ownership for our customers. The FPL will be responsible for leading the activities from early design start through silicon debug and manufacturing. Key responsibilities will include owning the foundry engineering interface for specific customer accounts, driving the design/process co-optimization, developing and tracking integrated foundry/customer development schedules, supporting customers throughout the product design phase, ensuring checklists are applied and completed in each development, running the debug war room, and being a balanced customer advocate to effectively optimize customer requests with foundry capabilities.
The successful candidate will be able to showcase the following skillsets and experience:
BS/MSEE with 15+ years of experience in product development management;
Broad overall product development knowledge from architecture through product ramp
Practical knowledge of 3rd party IP, ASIC design, and EDA solutions
Excellent customer skills, able to work at all levels of the organization from CEO to Engineering
Proven leadership and program management experience in complex engineering organizations
Complex problem solving and decision making with a proven record of results orientation
Ability to work effectively with global teams in a variety of geographies
Top notch written and verbal skills
Hands-on experience with silicon debug
Desirable skills include experience in an engineering role at an ASIC design services supplier and experience with design/process co-optimization
Location is flexible. Regular travel is required for meetings with customers and partners.
