Navy ERP Material Management Module Subject Matter Expert (Job Number: 205079)
SAIC currently has a job opening for a NAVY ERP MATERIAL MANAGEMENT (MM) MODULE SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT supporting our C4IT Business Unit’s BUSINESS SYSTEMS AND MANAGEMENT DIVISION in WASHINGTON, D.C.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate will serve as a member of the NAVSEA Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Implementation Team and will support the implementation of Inventory and Warehouse Management functionality across the NAVSEA Enterprise. Specifically, he/she will support cradle to grave ERP Deployment activities in the area of Material Management (MM) Module and Plan to Pay functionality. Candidate will serve as a Navy ERP Subject Matter Expert and will advise with regard to deployment requirements, site-readiness, system integration, data migration, business process reengineering, training, role mapping, and organization change management. Key support areas include business process demonstrations in the ERP environment, knowledge transfers, and transition activities. In addition, the candidate will be required to take action on watch-list items and ensure completion/resolution of tasks and associated issues. He/She will support the development of executive-level briefings to communicate status, issues, and risk to the program office.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and nine (9) years of experience performing business management tasks or functions are required. High school diploma or GED and thirteen (13) years of experience performing business management tasks or functions may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement.
- Proficient with the SAP MM Module.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must work well independently.
- Must possess the ability to interface with customers in senior/executive level positions.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance is required. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Proficient with the use of the following software: Microsoft Project; Business Process Reengineering Tools (e.g., BPWin); Quality Center; and Business Objects is desired.
- Experience specifically with Navy ERP is highly desired.
