Community Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute UGC and community franchise content calendar
  • Engage members to drive conversation, relationships and site activity
  • Moderate member conversations, including comments, user-generated submissions and spam
  • Support VP of Audience Development in creating and executing community campaigns around editorial tentpole initiatives and coordinating the development of site-wide community features and programs
  • Work with data analytics team to report on overall community performance using standardized engagement metrics
  • Work with VP of Audience Development to develop and execute winning loyalty program to reward active members and acquire new users
Email Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with ESP and stay up to date on email best practices
  • Traffic email campaign requests and campaign assets to meet deadlines
  • Develop email campaign performance reports to share with management and editorial teams
  • Create HTML newsletters based on templates
  • 2-3 years of experience producing content for an online media company
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for email creative and templates, dynamic content and segmentation
  • Solid understanding of social media and how to engage an online audience
  • Experience participating in an online community
  • Strong applied experience in analyzing traffic data and tracking metrics
  • Ability to think strategically and demonstrate strong editorial judgment
  • Interest in pop culture, a plus
