Under the direction of the Borrower Services (BOS) Quality and Training Manager, the BOS Training Intern will work closely with the BOS Trainers to assist in the creation, coordination, scheduling, and facilitation of trainings conducted for the BOS Division. The Training Intern will assist with the development of the BOS Training Catalog, utilizing the corporate learning management system. In addition, the Training Intern will assist with the creation and distribution of training materials, including updating the Information Highway, as needed. The intern will also meet with other ASA interns for skill development projects, SALT SM product focus groups and events throughout the program. This is a paid position working 15-20 hours per week over a three month period.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (e.g., in order to be considered to perform this position, the person must be able to perform essential duties and responsibilities listed below):
Coordinate project to update BOS training catalog information within the corporate learning management system, ePath. Ensure past and future training offerings are cataloged for easy tracking and registration. Catalog should include training descriptions, prerequisites (if any), learning objectives, and other information as needed.
Coordinate the creation and distribution of training materials, including handouts, cheat sheets, questions and answers documentation, reminder communications, and any other materials needed to ensure smooth transition for associates during the training process.
Assist BOS Trainers with the formatting and organization of the BOS Reference Manual.
Assist BOS Trainers with creation or updating of PowerPoint presentation decks.
Coordinate updates of training materials on the Information Highway, including editing and proofreading.
Facilitate training feedback through the use of the BOS Quality and Training survey vendor.
Assist BOS Trainers in coordinating New Hire training. Duties include: working with supervisors to arrange job shadowing, assisting with set up of new hire work stations, resolving administrative issues that may arise during training, and walking trainees through the use of Outlook and time sheets.
Manage facilities for upcoming trainings, including scheduling and room set up. Facilitate equipment for trainings by working with the Help Desk to ensure all necessary equipment is booked, set up, and functional prior to training start times.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in ASA’s skill development programs for Spring Interns.
Participate in Marketing and Communications strategy meetings and SALT SM product focus groups.
Prepare and deliver two trainings related to SALT.
Create SOP for adding courses to the LMS.
All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Undergraduate Junior or Senior or Graduate level student
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically PowerPoint and Outlook
1+ year working in an office environment
Project management experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team
Excellent time management skills
Strong organizational skills
Express enthusiasm and exhibit professionalism, self-starter and self-motivator
