Performs laboratory functions, phlebotomy functions, and all Point of Care (POC) testing to meet CAP accreditation standards.
Performs other designated testing such as ECG, PFT, and Physical Ability Testing(PAT).
Performs QC on all POC tests and documents POC test results in EPIC.
Must have the capacity to learn and retain information regarding patient care procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others.
Computer experience required.
Prior phlebotomy training required.
Must have or obtain within the first 90 days of employment, certification in CPR.
Part-time mornings including Saturday morning rotation.
