Description

The Technology Risk Analyst (“TRA”) provides guidance and support for technology risk management & compliance activities for Cargill Animal Nutrition at the direction of the CAN Technology Risk & Control Manager.

The TRA keeps abreast of technology risk trends and best practices and collaborates with CAN IT, CAN business partners and management, service operations, and solution delivery to achieve the optimal alignment of technology control with business objectives.

An example of the TRA’s responsibility includes, but is not limited to, working closely with the CAN IT business partners to ensure we are balancing technology risk and business requirements, managing stakeholders to assist in furthering the education and awareness of technology controls.

Principle Accountabilities

:

35% - Consulting

Provide consultation and assist in designing proper controls into the business and technology processes for CAN.

Provide consultation, interpretation, and assist in designing options for risk management policies and the risk exception process.

Collaborate with Technology Risks Analysts in CAN and acrossPlatforms/SSC on technology risks and gaps.

Consult with the Tartan@CAN instance for computing and application controls.Work closely with the business on Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestures, and Joint Ventures to ensure proper controls are applied.

20% -Monitoring

Identify, assess, and report on technology risk for the CAN using standard technology risk framework processes.

Coordinate audit preparation and follow-up activities.

Work closely with stakeholders to ensure risks in are understood, documented, and prioritized.

Perform risk assessments as required, including plant reviews.

30% - Remediation Planning

Consult, validate & monitor implementation of remediation activities.

Collaborate with other TRA’s on common risks to achieve optimization and coordination of remedial activities.

Provide regular reports on the progress of remediation activities to the Technology Risk & Control Manager and others.

15% - Education & Awareness

Provide Technology Risk & Controls training & awareness to stakeholders in CAN. This includes aligning the technology control requirements and objectives with the business requirements

Qualifications

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

5+

years of I/T experience.

Ability to learn on the fly, manage through systems and common processes, and have sufficient overall intellectual horsepower to address the demands of the team.

Effective teaming skills encompassing cross-functional teams, peer relationships, informing, and understanding and appreciating differences.

Excellent communication skills encompassing inter-personal communications, persuasion and influencing skills, security communications in business terminology, and medium to large audience discussions/presentations.

Demonstrated working knowledge of Risk Management, Information Security, Controls, and IT Audit practices or some combination thereof.

Proven record of high performance in problem solving, collaborating, planning/priority setting, timely decision making, perseverance, and a drive for results.

Demonstrated customer focus skills in translating risk management policies into business requirements.

Strong interpersonal skills in terms of effective listening, patience, composure, and conflict management.

Ability to travel 25%.
